Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking or using any services provided by Coastal Marine Detailing.

By booking a service or engaging with Coastal Marine Detailing ("we," "us," "our"), you ("Client") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not proceed with booking.

Coastal Marine Detailing provides professional marine detailing and related vessel care services, including but not limited to: ceramic coating, buffing and waxing, boat floor installation, bottom paint recoat, teak work, engine room detailing, window polishing, isinglass restoration, and marine caulking.

All services are performed at the Client's marina, dock, or other agreed-upon vessel location within our service area. Our primary service area includes Grand Haven, Holland, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, Muskegon, North Muskegon, Whitehall, Grand Rapids, Douglas, Saugatuck, and South Haven, Michigan. Service outside this area may be available upon request and may be subject to additional travel fees.

All quotes are based on the information provided by the Client at the time of inquiry. Final pricing may vary if the actual condition of the vessel differs materially from what was described. Any changes to the quoted price will be communicated to the Client before additional work proceeds.

Prices are subject to change without notice. A confirmed booking locks in the quoted price for the agreed scope of work.

A deposit may be required to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via credit card (processed through Stripe), cash, and other methods as communicated at the time of booking.

Invoices not paid within 14 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.

We understand that plans change. Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

• Cancellations with more than 48 hours' notice: full deposit refund.
• Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice: the deposit may be forfeited.
• No-shows on the day of service: the full deposit is forfeited, and a rebooking fee may apply.

Coastal Marine Detailing reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to equipment issues, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as soon as possible and work to find the earliest available alternative date.

Certain services, particularly exterior detailing and ceramic coatings, require appropriate weather conditions for optimal results. In the event of rain, extreme temperatures, or other adverse conditions that would compromise the quality of work, we reserve the right to reschedule at no penalty to either party. We will communicate any weather-related rescheduling as promptly as possible.

Coastal Marine Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, or deterioration discovered during the course of service. This includes but is not limited to oxidation, paint failure, gel coat cracking, structural damage, or prior poor-quality repairs.

Clients are responsible for:

• Ensuring the vessel is accessible at the agreed time and location.
• Removing personal belongings and valuables from the vessel prior to service.
• Disclosing any known damage, prior repairs, or conditions that may affect the service.
• Ensuring all necessary permissions are in place for us to access the marina or dock.

We stand behind the quality of our work and take pride in delivering exceptional results. However, outcomes may vary depending on the vessel's condition, age, materials, and prior maintenance history. We do not guarantee specific results on heavily oxidized, structurally compromised, or severely neglected surfaces.

If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 48 hours of completion. We will work with you in good faith to address any legitimate concerns.

Coastal Marine Detailing carries liability insurance and takes every reasonable precaution when working on your vessel. In the event of damage caused by our negligence, our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

Coastal Marine Detailing is not responsible for damage to vessels that are not properly secured, or for items left unsecured within or on the vessel during service.

We may photograph your vessel before and after service for quality assurance and portfolio purposes. By booking our services, you grant Coastal Marine Detailing a non-exclusive license to use these images on our website and social media channels unless you notify us in writing that you do not consent to this use.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ottawa County, Michigan.

Coastal Marine Detailing reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
